Multiplayer Games

For some reason, Multiplayer games are choppy to me.. I don't understand, on Single Player games aren't usually choppy, but when I play online, every two seconds the game itself lags for a split second, and then goes back into gaming.. it's playable, but very annoying. Help?

There's a lag bug that was somehow introduced with the last patch, we're hoping that a new patch to fix this will be released soon.
