Ok me and my friend were both online the other day on winter assault and we wanted 2 vs eachother, but for somea reason we couldnt get on eachothers servers or the same server either, we both hav diff cd keys cause we both bought it. Can ne 1 help?

Ok wat it means is, while i was playing DOWWA i couldnt go on at the same time as my fellow friend. There was no error it didnt say anything it just wouldnt let me join his server and visa versa, can anyone help.
