Please help!! Instalation issues

i originally had DoW but i lost it (i dont know how). anyway i got the game of the year edition today but when i try to install it it says DoW is installed but there is no thq folder anywhere an the computer. by clicking "play game" nothing happens. please help asap!

You probably just need to remove the old DoW registry entries: go start > run > type "regedit" and navigate your way to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\THQ\Dawn of War\

If that folder exists, delete it.
