Been playing WA and DoW for about as long as they been out now. Just recently im experiencing a major drop in fps (3-4fps sometimes) and generally jerky and laggy movement when playing other people online (2v2, 3v3 4v4 etc.)
As stated this was something that happened overnight and my rig has always run these games very smoothly. If i play singleplayer or skirmish theres no problems at all and other games online work perfectly as well. (counterstrike, half life 2 etc. etc.)
The only thing that happened recently was when I installed the BETA of Company of heroes which uses the DoW engine. On CoH i have the exact same problem when playing online although i can easily play it at max detail in sp and against comps.
Ive got a ATI 1900XTX Sapphire, 3.6ghz intel, 2gb RAM and plenty of free hd space. Ive got Directx 9.0c
I dont see how it could be related to my vid card an such seeing as ive always been able to play DoW on max settings without any lag.
The lagging seems to start after a little while when i log on to gamespy (10-20 secs) after this even when i try to type something the letters will start to be delayed before showing up and menus and buttons will be slow to respond.
The lag is really bad and makes it near impossible to control units so im basically stranded until I can find a fix for this. If anyone have any suggestions it would be appreciated.
Ive also uploaded the diag file if its any help.
