Well, they had cleaned up textures from time to time, so its not beyond reason that some units will get retextures. Point in case, the force commander. He is reskinned and looks ready for war.

Basically, there's no real reason to update them. The current models serve their purpose, and redoing them would only delay the release of Dark Crusade.

HM_Cas, This is why we have a modding forum. Perhaps, you could suggest your dandy idea to some modders? I'm sure they'd be glad to do it if there's reason enough, and enough hype over the mod, to make it. On the other hand, in the same area, "Closer to Codex" will be likely to make some new models of the new Wraithlords, Aspects, and CC Terminators. Perhaps ask them?

The only model I want to update is Fire Dragons, because they are Dark Reapers with prettier armor. Other than that, there is no difference between there animations.

I'd personally like to see all the old models updated. The new Terminator and Assault Terminator models for TT are fantastic, so much so that they put the old TT (current in DoW) ones to serious shame.

DoW 2 is speculation at the moment. But it's been suggested that Relic may be considering it.

Actually, i like the models as they are now, but the game feels a bit slow to me, but i will refer to that in an other post.

There are 2 ways to look at this...
1. DO NOT DELAY DC RELEASE! LOL
2. NO matter when the release, do a fantastic job of it and make it worth the wait !!!

They don't update models, because if you go to any TT event, chances are you'll see alot more old wraithlords then new ones. Granted, I love the new wraithlord, I love the new Termies, and I'd love to see them in the game. Has anyone seen the new Chaos possessed though? GW made some actual possessed minis finally... Looks like a 5 year old shoved a hunk of metal up his butt, ate nothing but been burritos and indian food for two weeks, then crapped those awful things out.
