I just red installed my OS, reinstalled a fresh gold edition of winter assault, and patched it.
Played it for a few days this week.
I just tried to log on to gamespy and got the error:
"CD authentication failed"
the only thing i've done with wa today was install dark crusade, and then uninstall it.
what gives?
i also put the cd in the drive and still got the error.
