I found a very serious bug when playing the demo yesterday. I had built a stealth team, and was building a commander and firewarrior squad from the barracks when the crash occured. The sound jammed and kept repeating and the entire screen went orange. I tried restarting the computer but it was unable to start windows and the entire screen went black , so I restarted again.
Afraid that I had lost everything on my computer I tried starting windows in failsafe mode (is that what it's called) and I finally got it to work again. After that I threw out about 5 gigabytes of files and defragmented the thing. After a restart everything was back to normal , and im still unsure whether DC was the cause.
My graphics card driver is up to date and F-Secure is working well. The computer is also top of the line so it should run DC.
Another cause that might have made the game crash might have been the Company of Heroes Beta, which I am unable to open, move , or even throw away. As soon as I click on the Beta .exe the computer freezes for five minutes and everything moves sluggishly after that until I restart.
