I'm gonna be completely honest here, i got a copied version of DOW when it first came out and used daemon tools to run it along with a cd crack, very unlike me to get a copied game i must add.
Didn't play it for a long time and recently bought the gold edition with winter assault, tried to install but have to remove the old version prior to installing the new one. I simply cannot get rid of the old version from my computer. Add/remove programs runs the uninstall program up to half way and it stops, i've been into program files to delete any THQ or DOW files, been into regedit and deleted all THQ files and its STILL in my start menu. I cant install the official game while its still on my hard drive.
I would most appreciate it if someone has a solution, really wanna play the game again,
