Hi im jonathan i got a bug on online ... on DOW... icant join games... there his like 20 games or more Cant join 1 of them... wen i click a game .. it says conecting...


i wait 5min and they say cant conect to server...


and for my bro it work really fine!... What the probleme !!

Try disabling any firewall or antivirus.

Isn't there some trouble with joining when there are multiple people on a NAT'd network? I cannot recall.

You need to forward those ports - I link a website giving instructions for a wide range of routers in the thread.

All software that uses the internet sends data through various ports - software that is currently working fine obviously uses ports that arent blocked. Opening additional ports will have no effect whatsoever on your other programs (analogy: if they build a new road do some people suddenly find themselves unable to drive down the old roads?).

jo, you can only forward ports to one computer at a time, that is correct. And unfortunately that means that you can't play online with your brother using gamespy.

If you find other people willing to play you can use Hamachi (http://www.hamachi.cc) to set up a VPN and play them like you would in a LAN, but that's about all you can do.
