Seems like one of those 'Last-ditch-efforts' to keep an old TV favourite popular in the community but ppl will have enough sence not to buy it because they know that it won't make any difference. It's just pointless!

You sure this is an "American tribute" teletubby? IIRC the "stars and bars" symbol on its chest is also the flag of a scotish regiment.

Thats the flag of the CSA, better known as the Confederates in the American civil war. I really like the flag, but sadly its often used as a racist symbol here :(
I used to have one in my room though. Just because I like how it looks.
[edit] the real CSA flag has more stars though

Why anybody would want to own any Teletubbie is beyond me.

Martian, I know what it is commonly known as here, but I'm pretty sure it has its roots in a UK flag.
BTW on my last trip to North Carolina I saw lots of bumper stickers with that flag and the caption "Heritage not Hate"

That thing just looks plain evil. Like it might come awake and castrate you in the night.

I think that speaks of Teletubbies in general, regardless of their Dixie origins..
Those red eyes are scareing the sh*it out of me...
Kinda reminds me of One Hour Photo
