Dow bug or Bad CD ? help!!!

I am playing a solo campaign and in Mission 4, I destroy the tank beast, warboss and i clear his village. but the mini map and game screen still shows the red for the village. is this a bug or did i get a bad disk please help if you can.

Have you tried restarting the mission?

yes i restarted like 5 times. each time same end result.

Well it wont be a bad disk (if the disk allows you to install the game then you can assume that it is ok...this goes for any game, not just DoW - scratches or defects will generally cause the installation to come to a slow halt when the installer needs a file on the damaged part of the disk).

Are you sure that you have destroyed everything on the map? There may be a lone generator or tank hiding somewhere.

i have listening post on every resource point captured all of them and there are no red blips on entire map. shrugs :dolt:

Look at the mission objectives, which one isnt completed?

Have you built a secondary base?

Do you need to run your FC into the village to trigger an end of mission cut scene? (I dont remember - its a couple of years since I played the DoW campaign).

If I remember correctly there are some very well hidden "boys' huts" in the north of the ork village.
Didn't finde them too when I first played the campaign. Maybe that's the problem.
