I was playing as the Necrons the other day against an Ork enemy, and was surprised to be attacked by two Warbosses at the same time. The same thing happened against the IG, where two Command Squads attacked me at the same time. Why is this? And is there a way to get two Necron Lords?

Sometimes you will actually be fighting more than one base at a time, either attack strong territories or defending. Even though it implies there's only one player who controls two large bases, there are actually two computers there with seperate bases. That's why multiple heroes of the same type were attacking you.

I thought that might have been it. So I suppose if I have two bases I won't get the same thing though, right?

I have seen this in the campaign. I was playing as tau and when necrons invaded the dessert and the necrons had 2 HQ's and 2 NL's. So when I killed the first HQ it said player defeated, but I still had another computer opponent to kill. This also happend lalter when defending against the Orks in another land.
Is this supposed to be that way?
Keep in mind this was in SINGLE PLAYER CAMPAIGN and I was ON THE DEFENSE.
