Graphics better in campaign than they are in Skirmish?

In the first Dawn of war, Winter Assault & now Dark Crusade the graphics are really good, on campaign.

But in Skirmish the Space Marines breastplates etc are alot blurrier, the graphics are worse in skrimish? It's not a serious problem but it would be nice to know why it does this.

I know something about this. As far as I know it's some kind of security. If the game is automaticly set to lower graphics in skirmish or online play, it runs better, smoother so there is no lag, but even on stronger machine this is still active. All u have to do is add this : fullres_teamcolour=1 into your Local file. It's in C:\Program Files\THQ\Dawn of War.

I'm sure my PC can handle the high graphics in skirmish, because the games still really smooth in campaign with everything on high.

Just open the dawn of war folder (or dark crusade I dunno whats the name of it in DC) and find "local" open it and simply add between all those stuff in there : fullres_teamcolour=1 and save.

Just for a reminder, don't use that setting unless you are ABSOLUTELY sure your pc can handle it!
If it can't you will cause lagg and that is probably why it's set to low cause there were some retards who set the graphics to high and caused lag and spoiled the game for everyone.

Hows it goin, This worked great for me!! I had a problem with not the text not showing properly ingame (Main menus and on the battlefield menus) even before I installed dark crusade. I did a clean reinstall of dow and dark crusade and still the text wasn't displaying at properly.
But when I added this to local.ini I can read the menus again!!!
I know that this command is for teamcolours but it fixed my menus:yippee:
