Loading skins

I had this problem a while back, but somehow fixed it by restarting the game. But what's happening is sometimes i'll get like on the edges of some models a failed loading skin kind of thing. Basicly rather than having the fully detailed skin around the model, only a solid color will show.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?
