which race is your favorate?

hi all, now that DC has been out for almost a month which race is your favorate and why? For me its going to be Eldar or IG and a little Tau.

Really, really hard to say at the moment. It's a toss between Tau, Necrons, and Space Marines.

I like the Necrons' style, but sheer amount of imba whine on these forums has left a bitter taste on my mouth every time I play them.

Tau are really, really fun to play. So many units, so many different things to do with them.

But I still like SMs as well. I love their badass "FOR THE EMPEROR!!!" attitude. So hard to say.

Ork, because people think they are just a joke, and I love to see the amusement on people when they see the joke actually ripped them into pieces.

Necrons are extremely cool too, they walk in a Terminator style (The movie one), but they just have too much imba atm.

IG is rocken, put today I played more SM than I have since WA came out. I gotta say I missed those tough as nails tactical squads and... yeah dreadnaughts, gotta have dreadnaughts. One of the main reasons I have been playing SM recently is the snappy new paint job I just came up with. I call them the Myrmidons.

I still love IG, and will probably go back to them eventually. I just needed a break from the same old same old. The most important reason for going back is I direly miss the artillery.

I love shooty armies. Even if they are very weak in close combat. I just like to see the fireworks of plasma fire.

I still play Chaos, and I must say that they feel pretty different from WA. I now rely much more on ranged firepower as support for my CC troops over just massing brute CC forces.

I always loved CSM and felt that they could have been more useful in WA, and they are great in DC. I love the way they infiltrate.

Oblits are also better, but they still seem slightly bugged to me. BT and DP could do with some changes, but overall I really like the new playstyle of Chaos.

1. Chaos (Zerkers, Infiltrating Chaos Marines with Plasma, Defilers, new Oblits, Daemon Prince, you name it)

2. IG (Havin' much fun with the new HWTs and the Assassin + Bassies)
Long-range scan + EarthShaker rounds is splendiferous.

3. Necrons/Tau (Both are interesting in their own way. They get a shared spot here.)
Both of these factions feel very fresh and different.
Most interesting is the Necron Lords artifacts (and the choice!) as well as the Drone Harbinger. A whole new take on things.

Eldar and SMs i never play.

I would have to say the Tau are the best Race. Fire Warriors are very good, Kroot are fast and powerful and a couple of Harbringers will mess up your enemies weekend plans.

Well, my personal favorite will always be Chaos. This is just because I have been a Chaos fan for over a dozen years.

You would seriously allow the ramblings of a bunch of random people you probably will never meet to seriously affect your liking of a particular race?

imba be damned... if you like the Necrons, like them. Just cause some concerns about balance have been over-emphasised doesn't mean they aren't fun to play. I like them too if its any consolation, and if I wasn't a Chaos junkie, they would probably be my #1 pick too.

Orks by far. Even with the addition of Necrons and Tau, i still love my Greenskins. Nothing is better than a huge Dreadnought sized Ork in a massive exosuit.

That's tough. Space Marines were the first race I played, so I have a certain soft spot for them, and I love the Dreadnough and Land Raider.

Although recently i've enjoyed playing Eldar.
