Both ships look excellent, looking between them i'd say the battle cruiser is a stretched out version of the cruiser, Good idea, Gives them a modular feel similar to some of the ships in the original homeworld, and would most likely be the way an earth fleet would go. excelent job :thumb:

It looks good, I like it. Cant wait to see it skinned.
btw, it's Argonaught not Argonaut. It's sorta like Dreadnaught or Juggrenaught.

Just a correction on Hector's slightly misleading correction.
"-Naught or -Nought" = term that means "thing", as a suffix it can apply to a vessel (e.g. Dreadnought).
"-Naut" = term that means "user" and can apply to a vessel's crew.
The argoNAUTs were the crew of the vessel the Argo.

I'm not sure where Juggernaught came from, but I believe they are called Dreadnaughts because they fear nothing.
I like the ship. It's interesting to look at, and it's got the naval-warship-bristling-with-guns vibe to it. But, as Fly Molo would say, basic shapes are bad. The barrels on the big turrets, for example, are just boxes. If you pulled some vertices around, maybe tapered the barrels, it would look better.

its argonaut, after the brittish heavy cruiser of WW2. All my ship names are historic ship or class titles
SvK, i have updated all my turrets, see my main thread

no, a little white gerbil came up to me 1 day and gave me a cd, and told me "Oh tall one, please honour me by using my models that i have created to create the best mod for Homeworld 2, please, u can take all the credit, i am to humble in your presence, and i cant reach the WASD keys and mouse at the same time" So i did
no, actually i use a program called Rhinoceros 3D, a kick arse easy modeller.
on a side note, We dont even have gerbils in australia, i never even seen one besides joecartoon

Looks a bit similar to ships on the cover art of the book The Shiva Option by David Weber/Steve White.
Nice. Now if it were textured... I can find a use for it.

Yes, it is a nice ship. However, due to the thread being 2 years old, chances are slim to none of obtaining it.
