Hopefully this will be of use to someone. We've identified CRC errors happening on perfectly good disks, and we're pretty sure it has something to do with drives being able to read the disk.
So...here's a place where you can post what works, and what doesn't. Maybe we can forward this to THQ for future reference.
Post your drive model--the firmware, too, if you can.
I'll start off the "does not work" list:
Does not work:
Samsung SD-616E, firmware FC502 (I updated the firmware to FC509 before having my whole HDD wiped--I'll give you an update if it helped any).
Does Work:
Samsung SD-616E, firmware FC509 (yep, updates can help)
