Computer says "Can't locate game" when I try to upgrade.

I"m trying to upgrade my game from 1.10 to 1.40 so i can install winter assualt.

but for some reason, the installing program from the cd says that it couldn't find the game directory on my computer.

then i tried to get a patch from internet, also the same problem

can anyone tell me how to fix it?

Okay. Go to Local Drive (usually C on PC's) so; C:\Program Files\THQ\Dawn of War is the file path. When you go to update, and it asks you where you want to install the file, paste that in there.

it doesn't ask me the directory at all

it says upgrade first, then after i click next it jump directly to Error message.

Check in the registry to make sure the game knows where it is installed (registry info (http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=113713)).
