Fatal Scar Error - Execution Paused

I'm faced with the above error message when I begin my attack on the Vadean Cost(sp?). The game pauses with in seconds of starting, it can be unpaused, but the mission can not be completed. When destroying the enemy's HQ the game does not end.

I do apologise if thei has been posted elsewhere, but these forums have no search features and I need to get to work :)

Any help would be great, thanks.

Me too, i know the errors something to do with the enemies builders (scarabs)

I get the same error at the same time on that mission. Im the Necrons and my enemy is the Space Marines. I put the URL for the screenshot of my console as my reply title ^.

For some reason when I try to put the link or a hotlink to the pic in the msg body the forum complains about html being in my post.

I just got the error, but it didn't have anything to do with necrons. I was IG and was attacking the Ork's stronghold. I received the error message when I destroyed the large banner of the burnerboyz(don't really remember what they were called or how to spell them. They were the Orks with the flamers). After it was destroyed, Fatal Scar Error - Excecution Paused appeared on my screen. It continued to let me play, but it seemed like all other triggers were inactive. Destroying the other large banners didn't do anything and even killing the warboss didn't have any affect. Unfortunately I didn't think to check the console.

I'm having the exact same issue, execpt with Tau vs. Necron. But either way, really kinda annoying. Also, is there any way to resume execution after its been paused?

try reinstalling the game maybe??? I aint patched any of me DOW games and all seem fine
