View Full Version : I need to replace my cd-key...
...and I don't know how to do it :stick:
My DC works great, but I always got a "CD Authentication problem" when I try to log on to the lobby. (see this thread (http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=118013))
- I tried to ask to my national support agency specified on the manual, and they said to me that they don't support imported games (I'm from from Italy and i bought it on play.com, that's in UK)
- I tried to ask here in the tecnical problem section (see this thread (http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=118013)) and no one answered to me.
- I tried to mail THQ support, and no one answered me.
WTF I need to do to have a proper cdkey? :censored: I don't wanna think that I wasted 27 € to THQ for a game that doesn't work online! :banghead:

Maybe someone has already used it? Thats the most extreme case of it not working though.

I had a similar problem with another game (I forgot what it was now) that I bought. It installed great but wouldn't let me connect at all.
I went back to the store (it was a Game), explained the problem and they took it back. Apparently there had been a batch of simlar CDs with codes that didn't actually work. Then a simple reinstall off the new CD and it worked fine.

- I don't borrowed my copy to no one
- It doesn't works since the first time I used it, just after I received my game
- I opened by myself the game package

Ok, but I buyed mine at www.play.com, I'm not shure that I can ask them a replace... But I'm trying right now ;)

Mod, you're doing a mistake!!! I don't loose my cdkey, it simply doesn't works!!!

Then Call THQ support in your country, theres not much we can do from here.
Mail is slow, if you want imedient results, I suggestion Calling them with a Phone. The Number should be located on your box.
Ok, but I sent my mail to THQ three days ago... Ok, I'm tryin to use telephone, and harden my english ;P
Found the problem!!! Uhraaaay!!!!
I re-entered my cdkeys in the registry using 2 tips that the THQ customer care gives me:
- DO NOT USE UPPERCASE, just lowercase
- DO NOT USE NUMPAD, just the numbers above the letters on your keyboard.
