Since the tools released, we at ECOH have begun mapping and figuring out the map editor. For starters, were going to be working towards hells highway.
I have started on section one of the entire set. There will be about 4 sets in all. Each set containing a different section of the road.
All of our maps are going to be released within our mod. Comments/crit is welcome. Each map will most likely take about 3 weeks or so to finish, proper play testing and performance testing and etc....

Heres a preview of what section the map is usings. This screen will be doctored up and most likely put as a loading screen for our section maps. Each one will have a different section added.

ah, ok. At first I thought you were making a map about the holland operations ;)

Alrighty folks, I play tested last night against AI and figured out that the map was too small for 2on2 so im going to gear it for 1on1. Heres some update pictures.
Ive still got some damage effects to add.

Why sandbags in fornt of buildings??? looks freaky or is high flood incoming?

Its to add effect to the whole setting. The scene is a battle that went wrong, obviously, the buildings are built up for defense, I might be removing them around the taller buildings and adding them around the smaller buildings.
Its kind of like the same affect when you get a field HQ it auto puts sand bags on the corners of the buildings.

The only reason it's odd is because there are no windows or anywhere to shoot out of anywhere near the sandbags.
Would be much more in-place on a building with low windows.

thats why I said im considering eithe removing the ones around the towers or just making them different buildings.

Interesting map.
My only critique is that the farmhouses (bases?) in each map corner look too symetrical and thus artificial.

Nice map. Can you tell me how you made the wheatfield? I can't seem to find the right object for it.

In the editor, click on "Grass Editor" - on the right side choose "wheatfield" and "paint" it on the ground. That´s it :)

THnx for the comments.
Can you elaborate on what your speaking of about teh farms?
The bases I have placed in the corners in order to make it seem like both sides are coming from hedrow area.
