Who else plans on modding?

I was just wondering how many other people are set and ready to mod when hw2 comes out. I have already have some sketches down for the ships in my TC.... Has anyone else started this early, I noticed someone has already designed a few models

I have not started yet but when people do start modding after hw2 comes out i will be ready. Bring on the modding!

I actually think I want to start up a team.. I have a really good idea (I think) that goes off of the different parts of the hw/cata/hw2 storyling, of course I'll need to play hw2 to get all of it's story down... but that just gives me more to play with...

I'm excited :P
I'm gonna start pulling off some preliminary models in a few days to see how they look. and play around with some texturing

Ive never Modded before either But Ihave a Freind Who i Hooked on HW Who does the Graphics For a Philadelphia New Station Gonna Hook me Up with some Neat Toys to Play around with.Im No Artist But i Have a HUGE IMMAGINATION when it comes to Star Ships. He is Giving me Somthing Called "LIGHT WAVE 3D" I have no Idea But i cant wait to Use it.

I'll play the game first, and see how Relic did, before I dive in. Most of my modding ideas concern tweaks, not total conversions, as I doubt I'd have the stick-to-it-ive-ness to actually ever complete them.

Just as a sidebar comment, only something like one in three started TC mods ever sees the light of day. The challenges of working dedicatedly in a team environment toward a common vision is a lot tougher than people realize.

hehe the Dark Matter mod and team has been working on our project for 5 months now. And 7 months independent work from me.
