[DC]Unit sounds missing?

Been playing DC for a little while, everything going well n' what not. Then I was playing on a friend of mines computer. I noticed he had more unit sounds than I did and mine were repetitive and saying the samethings over and over again. His had nice variety. He told me it was just plain DC, no mods or anything.

Time for a reinstall or is there another way to fix this?

Solution to your Problem: Go to Options -> Sound -> set "Randomize Sounds" ON.

but now for a real error:
i experienced rather often in DoW-WA and also yet in DoW-DC that new-built units have sometimes got no sounds.
The units talk, as i klick on them, as usual.
but the sounds when a unit comes out of a building are all missing. this is slightly annoying as i have no acoustic feedback when my units are ready to get picked up for battle.
this happens every now and then when i start a skirmish or lan game.

has this error adressed earlier?

I've experienced this too, it's only happened a few times and i've been unable to replicate it. :\
