English Winter assault, with english/chinese DOW??

Hey everyone, I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas for me, to help with installing DOW winter assault... I bought DOW on Ebay a while ago, and it is the chinese/english version, but I also bought the English version of Winter assault the other day, but it wont install. The installer runs, but then tells me to install the original DOW. I already have Dow installed, but it wont work. I've reinstalled also, but nothing. Any ideas??? I've been wanting to play winter assault for a long time. Cheers people.

the english chinese version of DoW cannot be patched to 1.40 for some reason (I have no idea when a fix will be made available) and so WA cannot be installed on top of it. The WA installer should say that it cant patch your copy of the game - the "DoW is not installed" message probably means that something is wrong in the registry.
