I cant Play Online Dark Crusade!

I've had dark crusade for a while playing campaign with all three levels of difficulty. Why? Well because when I first got DC, I couldnt wait to play online with 2 new races. So I got on, and played maybe 3 online games. But after three games, I noticed that people in chat rooms, even the most popular rooms, were mute or something because there was no typing or arguesing. So I went to the most popular chat room: Kronus. Still nobody chatting. Oh well. I then joined an online game, and then it logged off and said "Disconnected by server, check your online connection or firewall router". Ok no problem, i logged off and checked my firewall and connection. got back on, joined, and yet again, "Disconnected by server, check your online connection or firewall router". Eversince, I cant play Dark Crusade online

Same problem here! Well, not me specifically... I convinced my friend to buy DC, he did, we played three games together, then he suddenly stopped being able to join games. :/

It's because the online support is atrocius. There's a definite problem, be it lack of capacity or server side bug. Playing the game over a VPN LAN it works just fine so I doubt it's the DC. The only way I've found to actually enjoy the game with friends is to either configure a router VPN, or a use software to do the same thing (hamachi.cc)

well...some poeple says it's abt port forwarding, i had the problem, i port forwarded my router and my game ran fine, and wads irritating is that many ppl are now lagging and you know when someone lags, their screen appears other players lagging and some blamed me...haiz

Guys just port forward or disable any virus protection

Anyhow, post a warnings.log from after a failed connection attempt please, and run the network tester docked at the top of this forum and post the results.

oooo i hav hamachi, how do i play you across it? god dawn of war is pissing me off with online play! it wont let me even log in! i try making a new account and it says my password is wrong.. how can it be wrong when making a new account!?

I had only 1 successful MP game by using Automatch. After that, I can't find any server in the join game board and having tough time to do automatch again. :cry:

ade, its probably because you already have a gamespy account with that eamail, try looking for your password on gamespy with that email.

i have hamachi vpn. if anyone wants to have a game private message me. then u can join my server. im not sure if it takes up too much bandwidth.
