sync error

What is a sync error? i just automatically lost an automatch because of it, in plain white letters it came up.......

Is there anyway to fix this problem?

Have you been messing around with the files in your Dow/DC folder? Any mods?

Moved thread to appropriate forum, and made a minor thread title edit...

Anyways, as Dr. Badman suggested, if you messed with your game files and made a mistake, it is a definite way to get a desync.

Also, a desync is when you both try to play a game, but either the game communications or the game files were different. (From my understanding, anyways.)

I have banners and badges, would that be it?

Badges/Banners would not cause a sync error.

Worst case scenario would be re-installing DC.

Perhaps it was a one-off thing or a patch bug - maybe try joining a regular online game and see if it happens again?
