Hi all,

Well, after sending a while struggling with Worldbuilder, and a lot of research here and on the Wiki (thanks to all contributors, your input has been really helpful!) I've now got a handle on just about all the Worldbuilder components.

In order to save others the hassle of learning it all the hard way - I'm making up some videos to take you through it all! They could use a little more in the way of production, but they should get you started!

So without further ado... here they are! Remove the **REMOVE** bits to get a valid hyperlink... I dont appear to be able to post URL's on the Forum!

Tutorial 2 - Territory and Resources - COMING SOON

Might just be me, but I downloaded the file, and all it plays is a strange green lines thing, with no sound. Any ideas? (Playing in DivX

eagerly awaiting the territory video, thats the only part of the edit that stumps me, apart from the "I press enter, and the spline doesen't create" problem.

When I start up world builder and create a new map I get a message that says: "failed to create the render window".

After clicking "ok" I get a "could not utilise remaining engine features" any advice?

I also receive the same problems as Lord.. My Debug window tells me:

FILESYSTEM -- filepath failure, path does not exist 'WW2\Locale\English\Data\'
FILESYSTEM -- filepath failure, path does not exist 'WW2\DataSoundEnglish\'
FILESYSTEM -- filepath failure, path does not exist 'WW2\DataSoundHigh\'
FILESYSTEM -- filepath failure, path does not exist 'WW2\DataArtHigh\'
WW2Mod -- PropertyBagManager Loaded in 8.9850005
DLLDriverLinker -- Adding driver 'spDx9.dll'.
DLLDriverLinker -- 1 DLL drivers found.
SpoogeDeviceInitialize failed
InitializeView failed
Unable to set up the Renderwindow
*unnamed* -- Failed load for step: 'Render Window'

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, creating the folders, and running in -dev but nothing worked. Do computer specs have any effect on this? I know my computer isn't anything to be proud of, I'm using a spare from the stone age (but can still run some pretty intense graphical games with only a little lag)

I just want to get around to a little modding/mapping while I am out visiting family, but if I can't fix this in any simple way I'd like to know..

Thanks for the help (IF anyone wants to address the situation ;) )
