Dawn of War: Gold edition wont install (2nd thread)

Also, I tried doing the regedit trick, but I couldn't find anything to do with an installer in the regestry.

Edit: I searched a bit better and found the installer in the registry. I'll give it a try...

I'm having trouble with the registry stuff, Am I supposed to delete everything except the things that have dawn of war in them?

Update: I figured it out and the regedit thing seemed to do the trick. Thanks for the help in the other thread guys. If I run into any more issues, I know where to come :)

The thread was locked due to many folk attempting to make it the 'Ultimate Help Thread'. Issues became merged, problems gelled and assistance became a chore.

It was closed to allow the forum users who required assistance to create their own threads for assistance thus keeping a clean divide between the issues, problems and situations of each individual.

As to your issue, I am glad that it has finally been resolved - it's like a nagging ache when there is a problem that just cannot seem to be solved.
