Race selection in Dark Crusade

I'm having an interesting problem with Dark Crusade. I've personally had it since DC came out. My brother just bought the Gold pack and Dark Crusade for himself (the same that I have) and installed it on his machine. I had it installed for a long time and I never had any problems playing it online or with a LAN, but my brother is. When he boots Dark Crusade, everything works fine when he plays campaign and skirmish and he has access to all the races, but when we try to play on a LAN, he can only select from the DC races and I can play using all of the races. We tried reinstalling it starting with DoW then WA then DC and it still refuses to let him select from all of the races. The game isn't really crashing so I'm not sure what's going on. Any ideas?

It sounds like a registry issue - if you go to ...

Start Menu > Run > "regedit"

Then navigate to :

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/THQ/Dawn of War - Dark Crusade

There will be 3 obvious CD Key files there CDKEY (is the DC), WXPCDKEY (WA) and the WH40KCDKEY (DoW).
Check to see if his CDs keys are in those files - if they're not, put them there. When DC next loads it will see this and give him access to these in Multiplayer.

My advice would be instead of messing with the registry, install the gold version before DC.

Sure thing GroundZero,

I uninstalled DoW and WA as I didn't think I would need them. I just found the thread that tells you how to enable the other races without installing everything so if I can get that working I'll be OK.
