Can't install please help!!!

Ok I got this game a couple of hours ago, if that.

At first I got to the third disc or so with no problem. I pop open internet explorer and the screen goes totally black.

I have to manually turn off my computer and this time I read that there should be nothing going on in the background. I click next and just an hourglass pops up! I ctrl+alt+delete and there are 2 DAW files saying Not Responding.


This is insane. What do I do?

Why do you 'pop open internet explorer' ?

Are you attempting to multi-task during an installation? If so, i would recommend not doing that.

If you experience any trouble during an installation:I would firstly recommend shutting down non critical programs and applications and then attempt to copy the disk to your hard drive and install from there.

How do I do this? I'm extremely computer dumb.

Like I think I said, this thing doesen't even let me get past the first "next" button. It just freezes.

Go to "My Computer"
Right Click the CD/DVD Drive with the disk in
Select "Explore"
Go to "Edit" on the top bar
Then "Select All"
Then back to "Edit"
Hit "Copy"

Then create a folder on your desktop by right clicking then go to "New>" "Folder"
Call it whatever you wish.
Open this new folder
Right click the white area and click "Paste"

Be patient as this could take a short while.
When this is done, double click Setup.exe to start the installation.

There doesent seem to be a Setup.exe

I haven't done this myself, so i can only guess... autorun.exe? what are the files?

I used the autoplay thing which brought up the installation page and still doing the same thing.:cry:

This is all very annoying as this was working just fine the first time I tried and it messed up only when I tried to access the internet.
