Cant connect to Lobby on Dark Crusade

I'm having trouble logging onto the lobby in the Dark Crusade, whenever i try to create my account it stays at "Creating Account using the online Lobby System" forever or when it try to log on regularly it says "Couldnt connect to the Lobby Server, check your firewall/router if you have them", Do i have to open ports? if so, how do i open ports on my DI-604 router?

Run this tool (http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=63593). It will test all possible ports applicable to the game and Gamespy.

Regarding your issue, its a common occurrence, sometimes happens when Gamespy botches up - still, check your ports to be sure.

Ok all the ports i forwarded pass, however the TCP 6667 port is not passing, but i put in all the neccassary info as i did the others, correct ip, schedule, it is enabled, and the protocals are right, anyone have an answer?

Are you at school? If not, then check for a firewall/anti-virus application blocking port 6667.

IRC commonly uses that port, and there are viruses that can spread via script files with some clients (mIRC). The "fix" for some antivirus apps was to block this port so that folks could not connect out on it?

Some schools block that port by default.
