No music on loading a game - please help

I first posted in the bug submissions thread (http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=130676), but that might have been in the wrong place, so here:

Whenever I load a saved game in DOW or WA, the music stops, along with all background noise (wind, etc).

I have searched in this forum in all other threads, and they are all dead, and have NO solutions.

It destroys the atmosphere of DOW. Can anyone help me?

I know I have to post my warnings.log and dxdiag.txt. I'll do that as soon as I can.

Recently there have been similar issues, all amounted unsolvable unfortunately.
All I can recommend is to minimise your DoW window (ALT + TAB ) several times, and maximise again, and double check your sound settings within the ingame options.
