hello,

I was wondering if there was any way to remove the voices of the units when you click on them. some games have an option to cut down on unit chatter. I dont mind hearing the voices in combat, but it would be nice to stop their audible response when I click on the unit initially.

also, is there a config file that increase the mouse speed or acceleration? -- instead of just the control speed?

hrbngr - your mouse tracking speed is controlled by Windows or any respective mouse software. I use a Logitech MX optical mouse which has 2 buttons on it that increase/decrease its tracking speed.
Unfortunately, like some games do actually have Mouse Sensitivity, Dark Crusade doesn't. It does have 'Scroll Rate' which controls the speed you can navigate the map by placing your cursor on the edge of the screen.

Voices for units is an all-or-nothing feature, combat or non-combat acknowledgements are controlled under the one Voice Sound option.
