I followed all of the instructions from a topic on these boards, and I cannot get this to work.
I had to use Gimp (apparently an updated version from what was used in the original thread), followed the instructions and everything worked as it should have except for the point in M) where it says "the program will give you an option to Export your image, if you do NOT get this option, your image is probably not in RGB format, and you need to try again." I don't get the option to export, yet I know for sure it is in RGB format. The file tells me it is and the option to make it RGB is grayed out from when I converted it to RGB. I couldn't get that point to work, so I went on to the next and finished the instructions. Nothing customized shows up in the Army Painter at all.
I've used all the file extensions I can think of to put in the correct folder and nothing shows up in the game, not even with the .tga extension.
I've made sure multiple times that the image size is correct. The only thing I could think of was that my image is 64x48, and not 64x64. I tried that anyway, and it still doesn't work.
What am I doing wrong? I'm sure it's got to be something simple, and I'll smack myself in the forehead once someone tells me what it is.
Thanks for the help!
-Edit-
Well, I didn't figure out how to actually fix the problem, but it seems there's another thread with loads and loads of images for badges/banners. The stuff that I wanted to convert and add can be found there. I'd still like to know what I was doing wrong, but I found what I really wanted, my ultimate goal.
