help!! dark crusade wont open

when i double click on the short cut the little hourglass symbol appears for like 2 secs then dissapears then i click on the actual game icon and the same thing happens.... i put in the disk and press the "play now" icon and again the same thing happens. :ballchain how ever i try to start the game this happens can ou help me???

is a warnings.log generated? if so, post it.

uuuuum sorry tbs i am not really familliar with the technical terms.......basically it just pretends to do something and then cancels it gives me no warnings or error messenges

thanks for trying tbs what i did was repair the game and it worked......i have no idea what happened if someone has had a previous encounter with this prob could you tell me so i can prevent it happening again :S lol

A warnings.log is generated by the game every time it runs, it can be found in the directory where you installed the game (link (http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=57900)).

What probably happened in this case is a file got corrupted, the warnings.log would have said which one and then I'd have told you to repair the game.
