Hi i have dawn of war DK i was wonder is it possiable to move about on the campain Map Because alot of it seems to be Out off the side of my screen and top :crash:

O btw When i start my computer and DOW DK cd is in my cd rom It makes my computer not work :O :S + it took half an hour for it to load up so i could install it, does this happen with any of you's?????

Sorry the entire playable map is shown right on the screen it dosnt' move or scroll in any way.


You don't need to have the DVD in the drive when playing DC it will run without it.

You might want to discuss this in the technical support forum.

As an idea, make sure you have the latest video drivers for the video card in your system. The whole campaign map should be visible if everything is working right. Also try changing around the resolution you are running the game at to see if it makes a difference. Double check to make sure you have the game set to run full-screen too.

The boot time problem seems like you have some program loaded on your system which is trying to do something the with DVD at startup. Either figure out what program it is and stop it or, as the other poster mentioned, you can leave the DVD out because once you install it you don't need it anymore.

If your map looks like the one in Tsunami's screenshot then it is working as intended and you dont need to worry about it, there arent any extra territories hidden away off screen.

The warnings.log and dxdiag would be to help us diagnose the problem if your map doesnt look like the screenshot.

whoops forgot to say Yea it looks the same Just not use to not being able to move around ( me being a rome total war fan )
