Hi,

I tried going online with Dark Crusade today and have been getting kicked out of the lobby/games periodically with the CD Key in use message.

I'll answer the obvious stuff right away; Yes my copy is genuine, yes I have typed the CD Key exactly as it appears, no I haven't loaned my copy to anyone nor have any reason to suspect anybody I know is using it.

Although I have owned Dark Crusade for some time (preordered the Anthology pack last year), this is my first time going online with it. I bought it from a reputable etailer and it arrived sealed.

It's very obviously the case of a pirate getting lucky with a keygen and having a free ride - until now. I looked for contact details for this matter but couldn't find any. Where can I get this compromised CDKey shutdown and a new one reissued?

The best route to go through is official THQ tech support - their contact details are in the manual.

Before you bother them we should check to make sure its not an unrelated technical issue setting off the error - run this test (http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=63593) to make sure all your ports are forwarded (potentially, if the game servers cant communicate with your PC properly they may kick you with the CD key message). If your ports are all open or you open them and the problem continues then contact THQ.

Hi,

I DMZed my PC and tested all ports were ok with that app. Everything checked back fine so I went and idled in the lobby for 15mins. I got kicked again, so definately a key hijack.

I'll send an email to THQ shortly.
