I can't get my copy of DC to load, i have clicked on the every DC exe but it will not load, so i tried the graphics config exe and it comes up with an error message stating files are missing and that i should install the game? Now it was working fine this morning before i went to work and i tried to have a game when i got in an hour ago, i have no mods and i haven't installed 1.2 patch. I haven't gone into the game folder and deleted anything by mistake i am 200% sure of it and i have no viruses on my pc i tripled checked and updated my software. So i tried a re-install and it and the samething happens, there are no warning logs in the game folder either, i'm not sure whats going on.
my system spec is
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3200+, MMX, 3DNow, ~2.0GHz
Windows XP Professional, Service Pack 2
2048MB DDR RAM
DirectX 9.0c
RADEON X800 Series Driver Version: 6.14
post a warnings.log please.
If you want to get this solved quickly then reinstalling will almost certainly fix it - my guess is that a file has become corrupted.

there are no warning logs created as problem is the game won't even begin to load, double clicking or pressing enter on any of the exe's dosent do single thing not even the egg time appears next to the cursor. I have un-installed and re-installed the game 2 times.

I'm not familiar with the ATI thread of drivers, but maybe its the same problem I was having with the nVidia 100.xx series drivers for Vista. The config file was set up to only detect drivers upto a certain number (I think it was a format xx.xx) and needed to be ammended to recognize xxx.xx. I don't remember the file name, but I am pretty sure I saw the solution in a post here for my issue. If you wish, I can try to find that file and you can take a look and see if it seems to be the same thing.
A warnings.log should be generated whenever you try to run the game, even if nothing appears to happen - this sticky (http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=57900) tells you how to find it.

Just an update for me... It seems the issues with Vista and the 10x.xx series nVidia drivers were solved with the 1.20 patch. But if that didn't do it for you, the file was (Path)\Dawn of War - Dark Crusade\Drivers\spdx9_config.txt although I don't remember what I changed still, a google will probably pop up that fix and you can adapt it to fit your needs. Or you could possibly try rolling back to an earlier version of the Catalyst drivers maybe and seeing if that is the issue.
