ai bug?

Since installing the 1.2 patch the ai does not seem to be building powerplants.
If it matters i was playing 3v3, Sm v orks , destroy hq, standard difficulty, on the map Thargorum (sorry probably mispelled)

is this a bug or intentional AI change?
