patch doesnt download, stays at 100%

hey i just installed the game..
i made an account, but when it goes to the patch download screen... it says 100% and sits there.. it wont connect past that point..
it doesnt actually download to 100% it says 100% as soon as the page pulls up...

i turned my firewall off, that ddient work.. i dont know if i set up ports correct or not, portforward is confusing...
im on a laptop, using a linksys router... i believe he settings are correct i dont know thow..

If it reached 100% but didn't apply then look in the Patch folder. It should be there and then you just have to run it from there.

hey when i click the patch to download it,
it pulls up a window that is at 100% and says downloading... but the download # never moves, it stays at 100.
it does this even after i reinstall the game.
please help, i want to play online.

using windows vista on gateway laptop, mcfee anti virus.

i dont know how to use portforward if that is the problem, and turning off firewalls does not work...
i disabled my antivirus and firewall, still same problem..
window says downloading 100%, but it never downloads or what ??????

please help

Try downloading the patch manually, or even checking the :

C:\Program Files\THQ\Dawn of War - Dark Crusade\Patch

directory for the patch and install it manually.

can u play dawn of war online, and winter assualt online>?
i dont have dark crusade yet, i wanted to play the 1st one and winter assualt.

is dark crusade a 2nd expansion to winter assult ?

Yes, you can play DoW and WA online, provided you have the current patches. DC is the second expantion pack to DoW, not WA.

the patch folder is empty.

it never downloads, it is at 100% as soon as the window comes up, and never moves.

i left it sitting on the window for hours.


im playing dawn of war classic.. and soon winter assult.
i dont have dark crusade.. is that another game, or an expansion pack?
is there a good link for the mirror patch: full patch for dawn of war / winter assult??
