Gold edition wont work

My dawn of war gold edition wont reinstall. i had a mod for it, i uninstalled the mod and the entire game dissapeared from add remove programs. so i deleted the entire folder and shredded it. Now my com thinks it still installed and when i insert the disk it just has play DOW or DOWWA. need some help.

You deleted the game files, but the registry entries are still there. The installer sees them and thinks the game is still on your hard drive. You need to delete them manually.

Go to Start Menu > Run > type in "regedit" without the quotes.

In Regedit, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> THQ, and delete the Dawn of War folders. The installer should now work correctly.
