Pink Question Marks in Map Pack Maps

How do you get rid of these annoying things? I've tried everything that other mapmakers have suggested and nothing has worked. Is there any quick fix to this problem?

Pink Question marks represent missing files/elements/textures/graphics. Basically you need to install some other files, or the makers didn't supply you will all the files you require.
Its a needle in a haystack for finding the file without knowing the map and what it should look like (or even having the master copy). Solution? Don't play the map until the missing element is given :)

Alternatively the missing texture might be on your end, so a reinstall could fix it.

I've downloaded the Community Map Packs 1 2 and 3 and i started having the pink issues (just those maps, though. no others). I've also downloaded the 'strangetextures' packs, both 1&2, which will supposedly fix the problem, but that didnt help either. Have you heard of anyone else having problems with these map packs? Final Question : is there any download that would fix this problem (other than getting the map straight from the source maker)? It isnt my end, because I know of multiple people who are having the same problem

Unfortunately this isn't the most precise area of the forum to be looking for assistance beyond the original question. The Adeptus Modificatus (http://forums.relicnews.com/forumdisplay.php?f=96) forum area is packed with people who know copious amounts about mods and maps; I bet the community map pack makers are there too; why not drop them a post?
