Lan Games

Hello everyone,

Me and my roomate have been trying to play DOW: Dark Crusade lan. Everytime we start it up it tells him that he has a Data Sync Error something like game data doesn't match. We have deleted and reinstalled it mulitple times already and updated it also to 1.2 patch. Anyone have any suggestions. As to this problem is getting very irratating.

When you both are playing the LAN game it says this at the start ?

What game versions are you both running and what operating systems?

At the start of the lan game it states Data Sync error on my friend's computer. On mine it just says he's been defeated. We are both running Mircosoft windows XP Pro.

We are both running dark crusade with the 1.2 patch

Have a read through some of these causes (http://forums.relicnews.com/showpost.php?p=2305367&postcount=2) for Sync Errors, and see if anything might help or ring a bell with you.

Like I said before we have uninstalled it multiple times on each of our computers. I would hope this removed all the mod files but I'm not so sure now. I don't know where to find these mod files if they still exist after an deletion and uninstall and reinstall.

any other suggestions?

The folders usually aren't deleted, check at program files/thq/dawn of war - dark crusade to see if they exist, if so - delete them.
