Time time has come for me to waste more time trying to forward my ports.

In short.
I have correctly forwarded my ports. Trust me. All the gamespy and the 6112.
I have correctly entered into my DMZ.
I have allowed access from my firewall.
UpNp is enabled.

The only thing I might not have is a static ip, but I cant set that up, cos I dont understand what a DNS server is, and I dont have an alternate one, which windows makes me have, so I make up an alternate one.

Why can I not host AM games? Really annoying me now as Im looking to start tourneys but this will pose a real problem.

Thanks

Looking at my router, there are a few things that this might me, but I dont hav a clue what im talking about, only understand what i have read on this site.

Possible issues:
1. my IP filter is on high and is blocking stuff. I could image shack if this is interesting to show what its blocking.

2. Something to do with a firewall being on, attack protection and the like. I dont want to mess about with this not know what it does incase im vulnerable.

Sending udp packet from 6112 to 6112
Received from /66.134.89.225:6112 to 6112 "NAT detected"
Received from /66.134.89.225:6500 to 6500 "udp pass"
Received from /66.134.89.225:27900 to 27900 "udp pass"
Received from /66.134.89.225:27901 to 27901 "udp pass"
Received from /66.134.89.225:29910 to 29910 "udp pass"
Received from /66.134.89.225:43673 to 6667 "tcp pass"
Received from /66.134.89.225:44520 to 28910 "tcp pass"
Received from /66.134.89.225:37494 to 29900 "tcp pass"
Received from /66.134.89.225:60175 to 29901 "tcp pass"
Received from /66.134.89.225:52703 to 29920 "tcp pass"

Which I believe is the good result (except from the NAT).
I get this result either with my DMZ or forwarding the ports manually, but atm I have done both to be sure.

Can you post a log file from http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt please?

Also, can you provide the make and model of your router?

Is your router a modem as well? Can you put it into a "bridge mode"?

It is. I do not know what bridge mode is but i will look around its settings.

I cant find a bridge mode. Where should I be looking?
In my IP adress when I type it ointo the internet explorer or in my connections?

Thanks

It would be in the router's settings itself.

Unless there is another term for bridge mode, no there isnt.

Do you have a link to the router's manual?
