Platinum Version?

I have been having problems patching my game, so i asked around trying to find the solution. One person told me that platinum version automatically give me the most recent version of the game. Is this true? also how can i tell what version i have? (btw, i only installed the dark crusade, not the winter assult yet.)

The platinum version bundles DoW, WA and DC, but it's not out yet.

It's out in the States now. I've seen it on the shelves at a couple stores lately. Erm...actually, that raises the question: Where are you? These things tend to have different release dates in different areas.

DoW: Platinum is not here yet, and most likely will never come, and since I heard no notices of it being out, I assumed it wasn't yet...

The platium version should already include DC 1.2 so u shouldnt need any patching. And u can tell what version u have by going in the menu screen and its shown on the top left corner. It should say something like DC 1.2 engine
