A few questions

ive recently reinstalled DoW and winter assault and im alot more interested in the games now that i have a decent graphics card, i ahve a few problems tho.

1. my grpahics keeps reverting back to blury on details in most games, i have no idea why, ive set everythgin but shadows to max and in some games the graphics are the way i want them, where you can see all the little detaisl and its not jsut soem horrid blur. ive checked my graphics card settigns and nothing changes, they seem to be the same settigns when its on "omg im gunan be blury" mode and when its on "omg im gunan be detailed" mode.
my card is a Asus EAX1600pro DDR2 512mb. pls tell me what i need to do to fix this.

2. how do you open the console? ive read on sites and stuff that its ctrl and shift, but when i press them nothign happens. or is it that i cant use the console in skirmishes (spelling)? if so, where can i use it?

i dont have ~ icon on my keyboard, isnt that the button thats just above tab? cos ive jsut been tryign that and i get nothing

On my european keyboard there is this ~ on the same button as the + and the *.
But the key you tried opens the console in most games yes.

1) Go to your DoW directory (c:/blah/blah/Dawn of War) and find the local.ini, and in there type fullres_teamcolour=1. That should fix the graphics for you.

thx CommodoreKitty, it worked! :D 1 down, 1 to go. stil cant get into the console, ive tried loads of differant combinations of button presses, but still nothing, can anyoen suggest anythgin else ?
