Lots of trouble with uninstalling.

I attempted to use a Mod, but finding that my Game Manager was still borked and it would not allow me to install patch 1.2 again, I decided to try uninstalling Dark Crusade.

After doing that in add/remove programs though, it did nothing. The game would not play however. So with a shrug I tried to manually delete the files. Unfortunately the game disc only says "Play Now" and won't let me re-install.

Anyone have any idea what is up with this?

I believe the files are still in the registry.

Click on the Start Menu

Navigate to "Run"

Type in "regedit" in the box, and click [enter]

Navigate the folders in this order: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/THQ/


If you want to check your Dark Crusade CDKey/s, look for the file CDKEY for Dark Crusade, W40KCDKEY for Dawn of War, WXPCDKEY for Winter Assault within the folder HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/THQ/Dawn of War - Dark Crusade

Simply delete the folder for Dark Crusade here - make a note of your CDkeys if you have mislaid your CDKeys (or incase you ever do).
