Thread split.

You've enabled DMZ on what? A router?

I have enabled DMZ on my DSL-G604-TX router. This is becuase my router can only port forward up to 10 ports and i need to open all the gamespy ones which is 9 + xbox live ones which is 3 ports. I rang D-Link and they said for my situation I should enable DMZ.
I have been advised to get a different fire wall one that I can choose which ports are allowed. Is windows Firewall ok fore me to use if dMZ is enabled?.

Yes, you'll need to configure Windows firewall fully though until you get a good/clear reading from the network tester.
