Network failure upon playing DoW

When DoW starts my network stops, I lose all connectivity to the internet, and other devices on my network like my 360, the laptop etc.I am running Vista.

My instinct tells me it's your firewall/AV

To clarify, if you're on a router, does the whole router-wide network go offline or is it just your communication you to hub?

I'm on a wireless network from a router, also I forgot to mention this above but it only seems to do with when I'm running VOIP or any kind of voice service (vent. teamspeak)but once the game starts my voip drops and my interent aswell as every other device I was connected to on the router, but the router is still connected to the other devices.

What make and model router?

QoS quality of Service also pops to mind. Waiting for more info.

WRT54GS is model, and it's a Linksys 2.4 GHz wireless g router.
