Hey,

I have followed the guide and have fowarded all the ports needed to play dow online.

UDP 6112
UDP 6500
TCP 6667
UDP 27900
UDP 27901
TCP 28910
TCP 29900
TCP 29901
UDP 29910
TCP 29920

I have had some success but there are still a few problems.

Sending udp packet from 6112 to 6112
Received from /66.134.89.225:6112 to 6112 "NAT detected"
Received from /66.134.89.225:6500 to 6500 "udp pass"
udp port 27900 Receive timed out
udp port 27901 Receive timed out
udp port 29910 Receive timed out
Received from /66.134.89.225:57581 to 6667 "tcp pass"
Received from /66.134.89.225:56731 to 28910 "tcp pass"
Received from /66.134.89.225:57024 to 29900 "tcp pass"
Received from /66.134.89.225:36527 to 29901 "tcp pass"
Received from /66.134.89.225:35500 to 29920 "tcp pass"

These are the results I keep getting. I have tested with the router firewall down and have added the timed out ports as exceptions on windows firewall. The results were still the same.

I have attached a JPEG with the ports fowarded on the router but I cant see any mistakes.

Does anyone know why I keep getting this result?

All help much appreciated.

What other security software do you have running?

Also since you have a router firewall you can disable the windows one.

Theres no harm in having both - and windows will nag you if it doesnt detect a software firewall installed.

I have the standard sp2 windows xp firewall x32, the firewall on the Bt Home Hub and I have an antivirus software called Avast v4.7.

hmm, I use Avast and it shouldnt be blocking the ports - but just to be sure, shut it down for 5 minutes and try the test again.

Ok, I have shutdown avast and im still getting the same result. Is there anything else I can try?

Its very strange how it is just the UDP ports that are timing out.

Might be something specific on your Homehub that's blocking those ports. The BT Homehub routers do NOT work for CoH for example.
